White Done Right | A Hamptons Kitchen, Perfectly Resolved
Some homes arrive with everything you need - light, warmth, and a layout full of promise. For Jen, this Hampton property offered exactly that. Drawn to its natural light and inviting living space, she could immediately see what it could become. The brief was clear: create a true Hamptons-style kitchen that felt completely at ease, while refining the rest of the house to match.
From the outset, this project was guided by clarity. Jen came in with a strong vision, and with the support of Wood Wizards and Interior Design by Kirstin Sweet (Styled Haus), that vision was carefully shaped into something cohesive, calm, and enduring. The transformation wasn’t about reinventing the home - it was about elevating it, allowing the design to feel as though it had always belonged.
At the heart of the kitchen is a beautifully layered cabinetry composition. Polytec Casino 2 pack Satin in Classic White provides the classic shaker foundation, while Polytec Calcutta 100 2 pack Satin in Classic White introduces a subtle V-groove detail that brings rhythm and depth to the joinery. This pairing gives the space its unmistakable Hamptons character, while keeping the overall look refined and timeless.
Anchoring the palette are Caesarstone Organic White benchtops, offering a soft, elegant surface that enhances the brightness of the interior. While a key layout decision, relocating the tap away from the island, transformed the functionality of the room - creating a clean, uninterrupted benchtop that now acts as a central gathering point.
Texture plays a defining role throughout the design. The splashback features La Riviera Gris Nuage Gloss Wall Tiles from Elegance By Moorabbin Tiles, laid in a herringbone pattern to introduce movement and a handcrafted feel. This same tile continues into the laundry in a vertical layout, creating a subtle but effective connection between spaces.
Internally, the kitchen has been designed to support everyday living with ease. Blum TANDEMBOX antaro drawers and ORGA-LINE container sets keep storage organised, while the Blum SPACE TWIN System introduces a clever, space-efficient solution for condiments and cooking essentials, positioned exactly where they’re needed.
Jen’s approach to appliances and fixtures was equally considered. By sourcing selectively through outlets and second-hand marketplaces, she was able to invest where it mattered most - in the quality of the cabinetry and overall design. Rather than overfilling the kitchen with the latest mod-cons, she focused on equipping the room with exactly what she needed, choosing pieces that support her day-to-day routine and match the way she lives.
Styling completes the interior with warmth and personality in spades. Adairs Cebu Rattan Counter Stools and the Ivory & Deene Amalfi Rattan Lace Pendant Light in Natural introduce texture and softness, giving the space its relaxed, lived-in feel.
Beyond the kitchen, the renovation extends thoughtfully into the laundry and wardrobes, ensuring the same level of detail, functionality, and finish flows through the home. The laundry has been reimagined as a space that feels just as considered, with clever storage, cohesive materials, and a layout that makes daily tasks easier. The wardrobes follow suit, tailored for real life, with practical internal configurations that balance organisation and simplicity.
That same design language flows beyond the cabinetry. Fresh paint has lifted and unified every room, while new carpets introduce softness and comfort. Underfoot, updated flooring connects the living zones, grounding the home with earthy tones and continuity.
It’s this sense of consistency that transforms the house as a whole. Nothing is an afterthought. Each decision, from material selection to layout, works together to create a home that’s resolved, and ready for the next chapter.
This project is a testament to what happens when a clear vision meets thoughtful guidance and skilled execution. The result is a kitchen, and a home, that’s calm, complete, and entirely its own - a place designed not just to look beautiful, but to be enjoyed every single day.

“I absolutely love my kitchen. From the very beginning, the whole process just felt easy and well supported. I had a clear vision of what I wanted, and the team really helped bring it to life without overcomplicating anything. They really listened. Having access to the showroom made such a difference for me, being able to see the profiles, colours and handles in person gave me so much confidence in the decisions I was making. And knowing I could pick up the phone at any time, even after everything was finished, was incredibly reassuring. It’s not just the kitchen either, the whole house now feels like one... everything just belongs. I genuinely enjoy being at home, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wood Wizards to anyone.”

TOP TIP
Before locking in your layout, think about how you want the space to feel, not just how it functions. Small changes, like relocating a sink or clearing an island bench, can completely shift the way a kitchen welcomes you home.
